ACM SZABIST Student Chapter
ACM SZABIST STUDENT Chapter is dedicated to enhance the learning capabilities of computing students of SZABIST. It comprises of computer science students. The Student chapter is working towards spreading knowledge and awareness about computer science technology. ACM’s motto is “Advancing Computing as a Science and a Profession”. It’s a platform that enables all the computing students to connect to the world of computer science and technology.

Adeel Ahmed:
Adeel Ahmed is currently working as Lecturer cum Software Engineer in the department of Computing at SZABIST. Since last one year he has been teaching courses in the area of Software Engineering, Databases and Programming.
Prior to joining SZABIST, Adeel had served as IT Manager at NEDuet for over 5 years, where he assumed the project leadership role and managed IT division operations. He worked intensively in PL/SQL & SQL on Oracle related (10g/9i database and Forms/Reports tools) technologies, in the areas of database development cum administration. He has worked throughout the SDLC cycle and developed a range of small and large desktop and web-based projects related to University examinations system.
Adeel Ahmed graduated with Master in Computer Engineering from University of Florida and he received his Bachelor from NED University of Engineering & Technology. Moreover, in past he also spent some time in MBA-MIS and MS-CS programs at IBA-Karachi and LUMS respectively. He was a recipient of US Fulbright, Pakistan HEC, LUMS and NED merit scholarships.

ACM SZABIST Student Chapter Former Sponsor
Syed Zeeshan Arshad:
Mr Syed Zeeshan Arshad was not only the sponsor of ACM SZABIST STUDENT Chapter but also the BS Computing coordinator and Assistant Professor of SZABIST before he left for Australia for his PhD. He was also working at ZabSolutions as a senior developer.
