We opened our registrations as per convention according to SSC’s instructions from 6th of September 2011 till Society Fair on 9th of September 2011. A total of 70+ applicants signed up of ACM Membership which was very encouraging as compared to last year. Something that needs special mention here is we had applications from BBA & MBA is large numbers. All the applicants will be screened before they are finally inducted into ACM. Interviews are expected to be in third week of September. We look forward to induction of young blood in ACM.
A session was conducted on 11th August 2011 prior to recruitment in collaboration with IEEE for freshmen to inform them about both the societies and help them decide which are the ones to go for. It was very well received by freshies. Special mention for Sir Kumail Raza, Sir Adeel Ahmed & Sir Kamran Wali who spared a part of their class’ time for induction during a tight schedule of Ramadan.
